Free child care for all our enrolled families, effective Monday 6 April

Families can keep their bookings in place for free, even if your child is temporarily not currently attending your centre. This allows parents to hold their child’s place until the family is ready to re-commence care. This applies to all enrolled families regardless if they are eligible for the child care subsidy (CCS) or not.

According to the Prime Minister, parents who have terminated enrolment are encouraged to get back in contact with their centre and re-start their arrangements. Re-starting will hold your place for when you are ready to return your child to their centre, and won’t require you to pay a gap fee.

Previous or existing families that would like to re-instate their bookings or increase their days please contact your Centre Manager.

More information about the relief package can be found here.

Nurture One COVID Update

All NurtureOne centres are using Zoono Hand Sanitiser and Zoono Microbe Shield to provide the highest level of protection for children while also protecting their skin.

Dermatologically tested and ultra-gentle, with no harmful chemicals, Zoono products last all day on skin and up to 28 days on surfaces while fighting bacteria and fungi. Zoono Hand Sanitiser also keeps killing 99.9% of germs for up to 24 hours, even after normal activity and hand washing. Test results show that Zoono’s Z-71 Microbe Shield (the same Zoono technology used in Zoono hand sanitiser) is > 99.99% effective against feline coronavirus (the recognised surrogate for COVID-19). Click here to find out more about Zoono.

Many other initiatives have also been introduced, including Visitor Entry Guidelines, daily updates to our support teams, suspension of face-to-face training, more vigorous cleaning routines and separating cohorts of children where possible, to name a few.

G8 Education is consistently monitoring the advice from state and federal authorities and follows the all required and preventative measures stipulated to prevent the spread of COVID 19.
