Nurture One Children’s Centre Kilmore is a small boutique centre which was established in the Kilmore community over 15 years ago. We are open from 7am – 6pm each weekdays for your convenience. Our mature, long serving staff create a warm, stable and caring environment for each individual child and providing each child a sense of feeling part of a big family.
Our play based curriculum has a strong emphasis on literacy, numeracy, music, art, drama and the environment. Our outdoor play space is natural and inviting and all children from babies to school age children are encouraged to care for the vegetable gardens, fruit trees and worm farm.
Nutritious meals are provided and are freshly prepared each day by our wonderful cook (and our children!).
The children experience both specific activities designed for their age group and intermingling and social interaction with children of various ages. It provides the children with the opportunity of making friendships which may carry on to school and right through childhood.
We recognise that for many children the centre becomes their second “home” which will teach them much about life and relationships. Because so much learning comes from daily living routines the centre provides a program which includes and makes the most of these daily activities.
Our childcare centre proudly offers a kindergarten/preschool program to ensure your child is supported for their transition to school every step of the way. With a focus on language, literacy, numeracy, social skills and more your child will become school ready.

Reviews and Testimonials
See what some of our parents say about our centres:
“Initially hesitant to put my two young children into day care, I was comforted once I met the staff… Their friendly, professional manner was evident and my children felt at ease which is most important. Thanks to the staff for making the transition easier.”
“My children have been attending… for the past 3-4 years and have loved it. My boys really enjoyed the outdoor environment and were continually bringing home bugs (creepy crawlies), it was comforting to know the boys felt at home and learnt so much while there. Now my daughter attends with the same staff and again is always happy to go and i know she is well cared for and loved.”
“We are really happy sending our boys to NurtureOne in Kilmore. The environment is lovely inside and out and the kids all feel comfortable in their surroundings.
