We’re all in this together: How Nurture One is sharing kindness in our community

In these times of uncertainty and change, it’s more important than ever to share kindness, connection and support in our communities where we can – and our Nurture One centres are doing just that.

Nurture One Ray Street

Together, the carers and youngsters at Castlemaine’s Nurture One Ray Street centre have produced a beautiful and colourful #rainbowtrail artwork to bring a smile to children everywhere – a symbol of hope for the future.

While the fight against COVID-19 has impacted lives and livelihoods everywhere, the children at our Nurture One centres provide a daily reminder that there is still plenty of joy to be found in the world.

And with teddy bears popping up in windows all around Castlemaine, including our own, the community-wide desire to stay positive while we make it to the other side has provided us all with inspiration.

At our Prospect Road centre, the children’s rainbow artworks have been strung up on the fence and an impressive balloon rainbow display created for the entryway. It’s a source of delight not only for the children attending the centre but for the many who pass by on their daily walk.

Our childcare centres have been playing a vital in allowing parents to continue working, especially those who work on the front line, such as healthcare workers, emergency services personnel, teachers and educators.

We’re making sure that every child continues their early years’ education and most important of all has every reason to smile and be happy.
